Welcome to the City of North Muskegon's website. North Muskegon is a Home Rule City, incorporated as a village in March 18, 1881 and a City March 18, 1891. Our population according to the 2000 census is 4,031. The local governing body consists of a Mayor and Six Council Members. The City Council meets the first and third Monday of each month at City Hall at 6:00 p.m. You are invited to attend!
The North Muskegon Planning Commission meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall to consider zoning issues.
The North Muskegon Recreation Board meets the last Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall to consider recreation issues.

We invite you to stop by City Hall. Business hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The City Manager, City Clerk, and Treasurer offices are all located in City Hall.
